With yet another accidental discharge of a firearm in a public space, it seems many “responsible gun owners” are ignoring time-tested rules on firearm safety. Far be it for this liberal to school such wise and impassioned second rights advocates on gun safety but since liberals are such preachy know-it-all’s anyway, here it goes.
This article started off with this story, Mother charged after gunfire at Bargain Hunt in Southaven. I know, ‘women’ right?
But maybe these things called “accidents” have some reasons to look at like the paranoid fantasy that we are under attack from the forces of evil and should be ready at a moments notice to defend liberty.
Here’s a Yahoo discussion – Do you keep your home defense gun(s) loaded? The responses here are something to consider but the last one is the real attention grabber.

Getting help is really good advice. It works on so many levels. But here’s the point, this gun culture in America that popularizes itself as constitutional freedom has enslaved well-meaning people into a mindset of schizophrenic delusion for the purposes of political manipulation.
In order to illustrate just how dangerous it is to keep a loaded gun, here’s some recent examples to ponder, it took me about 5 minutes to find these from a Google News search.
Notice these are local news sites and not just those mamby-pamby leftist commie sites that (like this one) crow about infringing on ‘Muricans rights to shoot themselves just because it puts others in danger.…
